Kiwanis Club of West Essex will meet at 12:15 p.m. on Thursday at the Cloverleaf Tavern. All are welcome. For information call (201) 259-0849.

The West Caldwell Public Library will present Thursday at 7 p.m. a travel slide-lecture titled "From Sea to Sea Along the Pyrenees" with award-winning nature and art photographer Frederick Dammont. 

The program will focus on the French and Spanish Pyrenees, stretching from the Bay of Biscay to the Mediterranean, which are filled with history, art and breathtaking natural beauty. View the castles, fortresses, and inaccessible monasteries that overhang golden beaches as well as the Gothic, Baroque and Surrealist cathedrals.

The program is free and open to the public, but advance registration is required. To sign-up, call the West Caldwell Library at 973-226-5441 or sign-up online at http://thepyrenees.eventbrite.com.
