Meetings begin 7:15 p.m. with a conference sessionm during which time business is transacted and public comment is welcome. At the conclusion of the regular public portion the conference session may be continued.

More About West Caldwell Township
Due to the growing population of Caldwell Township, West Caldwell was incorporated as an individual borough on Feb. 16, 1904. The borough consisted of 3,175 acres and 410 people. Designated a township in 1982, West Caldwell now has 11,233 residents, according to the 2000 census.
West Caldwell has a mayor-council form of government with the mayor elected for a four-year term and the six council members elected for three-year terms. There are six standing committees of the Township Council and each member chairs one of the committees.
Mayor Joseph Tempesta Jr. leads the council of President Joseph Cecere and members Dominick Aiello, Richard Otterbein, Rosemarie Sutherlin, Stanley Hladik and Thomas O'Hern. The council meets at the municipal building on the first and third Tuesday of each month at 7:30 p.m.
