Free Mood Assessment

How's your mood these days? Stop in to the Caldwell Public Library on December 11th and find out how to assess your mood. The screening is composed of a very brief assessment filled out in private by the participants.  It is then scored by professionals from Mental Health Association of Essex County, Inc. and the results are briefly discussed with the participant.  This takes about 10 minutes and is a great way to self-assess.

This event tis designed to raise awareness about mood disorders, like depression, seasonal affective disorder, or anxiety disorders.  The mission of the Mental Health Association of Essex County, Inc. is to promote mental health including the integration of physical healthcare, to improve the care and treatment of individuals with mental illness and to remove the stigma associated with emotional and mental disorders. We, as a community organization, accomplish our mission through advocacy, education, prevention, early intervention, treatment and service. Check them out at http://www.mhaessex.org/
