Fourth of July Fireworks at Caldwell High
The annual Four of July fireworks celebration, sponsored by the communities of Caldwell, Essex Fells, North Caldwell, Roseland and West Caldwell, will be held on Sunday, July 4 at Bonnel Field.
Gates will open at 7 p.m., and fireworks will be set off at dusk by Garden State Fireworks of Millington. The rain date will be Monday, July 5.
DJ Dan Duca will provide entertainment for the event. Public will be provided by all of the local police departments and volunteer fire departments as well as the West Essex First Aid Squad.
To help offset the cost of the fireworks, a $3 donation per adult and $1 per child under the age of 12 is requested.
The James Caldwell High School parking lot will be closed to enable the fireworks display to meet new, more stringent standards of display site safety distance.
The driveways to the high school on Westville Avenue and Evergreen Road will be closed a half hour before the fireworks commence.
Those attending are reminded to observe the temporary parking regulations throughout the community on July 4.
