Lucy is an 8-year-old silver miniature Schnauzer. She is missing a hind leg and has cataracts, but that doesn't slow her down at all. She is a very sweet dog, but high strung so she needs to be in a quiet home with no children and no dogs smaller than her. Not sure why Bear was not claimed by his owner. He was picked up as a stray and we are glad we were able to rescue him. He is a sweet natured dog who gets along well with other dogs. Elmo has had both a tough life and a good life, but right now things are not so good because his owner, who loved him dearly, died. We want to make sure he gets a good forever home at his age of almost 5 years. Elmo looks like a Smooth Collie mix, is great with children, very affectionate and also good with other dogs. He still has a lot of energy, loves to go for walks, but does have seizures about every three to four months. Elmo is not on medication, because the owner thought he did better without the meds. Poor Archie...he had to leave his happy home since mom and dad worked too many hours and they could not give him enough time. They were also not able to completely house break him. Toby had to be given up by his owners because the landlord did not allow too many pets and he was one of them. He is now 9 months old, one ear sideways, one ear down which gives him character.
