But the weather should not put a damper on the spirits of students as they reunite with old friends and settle into new classrooms. New kitchens at both Grover Cleveland Middle School and James Caldwell High School are nearly completed. Caldwells Patch staff will be collecting school supplies for local children at the Caldwell Farmers Market on Friday, Sept. 2, from 2 to 5 p.m. Items will be donated to the Caldwell Food Pantry, which is currently serving nearly 50 families and is in critical need of food donations.
