Ash Wednesday takes place 46 days before Easter and marks the first day of Lent, a period of prayer and fasting for Christians.
On Wednesday, Feb. 13, adherents of Lent will have an ash cross placed on their foreheads symbolizing mourning and repentance.
Here is where and when ashes will be distributed in the Caldwells:
6:45 a.m., 8 a.m., noon and 7 p.m. Distribution of Ashes
3:30 p.m. Liturgy of the Word with Distribution of Ashes
5:15 p.m. Mass with Distribution of Ashes
7 and 9 a.m. and 7:30 p.m.
5 p.m. Children's Service with Distribution of Ashes
Caldwell United Methodist Church
Feb. 12 at 6 p.m., Shrove Tuesday Pancake Supper
Feb 13 at 7:30 p.m., Ash Wednesday Service in the Sanctuary
First Presbyterian Church at Caldwell
7:30 p.m. Service with Distribution of Ashes and Prayers
St. Anthony of Padua Church (Latin Mass)
There will be no masses on Ash Wednesday (Feb. 13) at St. Anthony’s. Ashes will be imposed on the first Sunday of Lent (Feb. 17).

Lynn, Caldwells Patch focusses primarily on the Caldwells. But since you asked I looked up the times for Our Lady of Blessed Sacrament and they are as follows:
Ashes will be distributed during the Masses at 6:45am, 8:45am, 12:05pm and 7:30pm, as well as during a Service at 3:30pm.
