What's Open on Christmas?
Where to go on December 25 for last-minute items or just a quick retreat.

It's Christmas day and you really need to get out of the house for a quart of milk, a last-minute gift, or a little peace and quiet. But, where can you go? There are a few places about town open and ready for business on Dec. 25.
Asian Delite – The restaurant is open 365 days a year for a non-traditional holiday meal.
Blockbuster – Need a movie to keep the young ones busy while the old ones clean up? Or, maybe you need a last-minute gift for the film buff of the family. The West Caldwell location is open for rentals and sales from noon to 10 p.m.
7-11 – Known for its convenience, the store will be open as usual for snacks, drinks and more.
Calandra's Italian Village – Interested in a meal, pastries for the host, or a quick sandwich? The Italian Village is open for business: Il Vecchio Café and La Taverna, from 11:30 a.m. to 9 p.m.; the bakery, from 6 a.m. to 5 p.m.; and the market and deli, from 8 a.m. to 2 p.m.
Clearview's Caldwell IV Cinemas – Start a family tradition and go to the movies. The Caldwell theater is running an array of shows sure to please everyone, inlcuding The Chronicles of Narnia: The Voyage of the Dawn Treader, Little Fockers, The Tourist and Yogi Bear. Show times are available on the theater website.
China House – For a quick, non-turkey treat, the restaurant is open during its normal hours.
CVS – The pharmacy and more store is open for business as usual, offering 24-hour access to cards, cosmetics, cough medicine, etc.
Dunkin' Donuts – The Caldwell location is open around the clock for a quick caffeine or sugar fix.
Econ-o Wash Laundromat and Laundry Service – For those who celebrate the holiday the eve before, or don't celebrate at all, the Econ-o Laundry is open for do-it-yourself washing and drying during normal business hours.
Jack's Foodtown – Forget the eggs, or milk, or …? The local food store is open from 8 a.m. until 2 p.m. for those last-minute items.
Manhattan Bagel – Planned the Christmas feast, but forgot about breakfast? The bagel shop is open from 6 a.m. to 3 p.m.
Rite Aid – For a quick holiday card or an aspirin to get you through the day, the store is open from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m.
Sam's Bagel and Deli – For the early risers in the house, looking to get a quick bite before the festivities begin, the West Caldwell bagel store will be open from 6 a.m. to 1 p.m.
Spring Garden – Need a quick bite to eat or just want to relive the scene from A Christmas Story? The Chinese restaurant is open as usual.
Starbucks Coffee – For a host gift, latte or chai tea, the West Caldwell location is open from 7 a.m. to 6 p.m.
Walgreens – If you are in the market for last minute gifts, cards, prescriptions and more, the store will be open 24-hours throughout the holidays.
