Each year, several West Essex student artists create the "Senior Mural" as their Senior Sevice Project under the direction of art teacher Eileen Dormer.

From the time they enter as freshmen, students look forward to the day when they, too, will keep up the tradition of adding their signatures to the walls of the high school by signing "their" mural.

The 2012 mural is a stand-out, painted by Grace Barretti, Jenna Bartello and Michael Leonardis. The students created a spectacular 3-dimensional illusion with the school's Knight viewing their names by torchlight.
