West Caldwell to Recognize Fire Dept. Centennial
Township to honor 100th anniversary of West Caldwell Volunteer Fire Department.

The township of West Caldwell will honor the 100th anniversary of the West Caldwell Volunteer Fire Department at the Tuesday, Sept. 18. council meeting.
The meeting, which starts at 7:15 p.m. in the West Caldwell Municipal Building, includes a resolution marking the centennial.
The fire department will celebrate again on Saturday when the community is invited to the newly expanded and refurbished headquarters at 6 Fairfield Ave.
A century of service will be celebrated with food, drink and music from 3 to 9 p.m. In order to eat or drink, attendees will be asked to purchase a commemorative mug—$10 for 21 and over and $5 for those under $21.
