—Past and present West Caldwell Fire Department members celebrated the WCFD's 100th anniversary on Sunday with an ice cream social at the newly renovated firehouse. See story and pictures.

—The West Caldwell Council will meet on Tuesday at 7:15 p.m.

—The Caldwells Patch Readers' Choice polling continues through August 17. There's stil time to vote for your favorite businesses. 

—Hog Wild BBQ Chef and Co-Owner Dave Danielowicz gave a demonstration at the Caldwell Farmers' Market on Friday. We'll have a video of Danielowicz preparing cowboy cavier, roasted potatoes and pork with a blueberry and blackberry balsamic reduction.

—Shakespeare in the Park: The final West Caldwell Gazebo performance of the summer will take place on Thursday.
