West Caldwell is soliciting quotations from vendors interested in operating the concessions stands at the township's two pools, according to an announcement posted on www.westcaldwell.com.

The township is looking for the vendor who is willing to pay the highest fee for the opportunity to run the snack bars at Cedar Street and Westville pools.

The vendor must provide a proposed menu along with prices, and agree to a number of rules. For instance, the snack bars must be open whenever the pools are and have a manager at least 21 year of age present at all times at each location.

The deadline for submitting quotations is Wednesday, March 6, at 10 a.m. A link to the application can be found here.

In 2012, the concessions were awarded to Hollywood Pizza in Fairfield. Tell us if you want them back in the poll above. If not Hollywood, then share in the comments who you would like to see running the snack bars this summer.

No Hollywood! It's the worst! Unhealthy food (cheese sauce on the grilled cheese?) limited choices and ridiculously overpriced! Gotta be a better alternative!

I liked the woman from 2011. They had some nice BBQ on Fridays. Good food. Don't remember the name of the restaurant but they were only there for one summer.
