The pickup truck slammed into the side of a house on Ravine.

A truck slammed into two houses and a car on Ravine Avenue in Caldwell midday Saturday.

The red Dodge pickup was apparently traveling west on Ravine when it veered off the road and hit the front steps of a house as well as an Audi parked in the driveway before crashing into the house next door.

The truck was being towed off the side of 60 Ravine Ave., where broken windows and crushed siding could be viewed from the street. The front steps leading to the porch of 58 Ravine Ave. were badly damaged and closed off with police tape.

The Caldwell Police Department was still on the scene conducting an investigation at 1 p.m. The Caldwell Volunteer Fire Department also responded to the accident.

This is a breaking news story. Check back for updates.
