The past week began with an autopsy confirming the death of a 20-year-old who grew up in Caldwell was a homicide.

The week ended, however, on a much lighter note with many area residents taking advantage of the opening of Grover Cleveland Park's pond for ice skating.

The Connecticut state medical examiner officially rules the death of former Caldwell resident and student Amanda Dobrzanski a homicide.
