Sr. Justine to be Honored by Catholic Charities
Former NBA Star Jayson Williams to speak. Stephen Colbert will give video presentation.
Sr. Justine Pinto, who leads social concerns and social justice for St. Aloysius Catholic Church in Caldwell, will be honored by the Catholic Charities of the Archdiocese of Newark on Tuesday, June 19, from 6 to 9 p.m. The event celebrating the 100th anniversary of the Catholic Charities of the Archdiocese of Newark will be held at the Upper Montclair Country Club, 177 Hepburn Road, in Clifton.
In addition to Sr. Justine, Jayson Williams, former Nets All Star, will share his personal journey and talk about the joy he receives as a volunteer for Catholic Charities shelter for men and women, St. Lucy's and, for its permanent housing for men who are infected with HIV/AIDS, Franciska Residence.
There will also be a special guest video presentation by Comedy Central star Stephen Colbert.
