Joey Germinario, a.k.a. 'Joey Tattoo,' hosting grand opening for Bella Arte Tattoo Co. in Fairfield Saturday.
Renowned tattoo expert Joey Germinario, a.k.a. Joey Tattoo, has set up shop in West Essex.
The host of the upcoming Spike TV series, Tattoo Rescue, will host a grand opening for his new 3,000-square-foot Bella Arte Tattoo Co. in Fairfield this Saturday.
The celebration will go from 2 to 9 p.m. and will include a car and motorcycle show, music, food and beverages. There will also be a chance to win a $500 gift certificate to Bella Arte.
The grand opening will be filmed for an upcoming episode of Tattoo Rescue.
The series features Germinario, who has more than 20 years experience, and his team of ink experts traveling around the country to turnaround failing tattoo studios.
“In a reality TV-friendly twist, the New Jersey native will have to deal with a mix of belligerent owners, obstinate tattoo artists and shops with massive health code violations,” according to Spike TV.
Saturday’s event is for adults 18 and older only.
Bella Arte Tattoo Co. is located at 1275 Bloomfield Ave., in the Pio Costa Complex, Building 9, Unit 84 in Fairfield.
Germinario was born and raised in Hoboken, according to NJ.com, and got his first tattoo when he was 16.
