'Twas the weekend before Christmas and all through the Caldwells sirens could be heard signalling the arrival of Santa.

Volunteer fire departments from North Caldwell and Caldwell escorted the jolly old elf through the streets of both towns on Saturday and Sunday.

Seeing Claus go by their homes is a highly anticipated moment for young and old.

Helpers give out candy canes and fire safety information to the children in North Caldwell. In Caldwell, children also get candy canes and volunteers collect canned goods for the food pantry.

Did you get a pic of St. Nick passing by your street? Upload it here.
