Caldwell's Dave Levinsky (center with ball) reached the 1,000-point mark on Saturday and took a photo with his family and Caldwell High School officials. West Essex boys sent the rivalry game with Caldwell into overtime, but the Chiefs prevailed 64-61 on Saturday afternoon at Caldwell.

James Caldwell High School junior Dave Levinsky scored his 1,000th career point with the Chiefs' boys basketball team on Saturday, Jan. 8. The point came less than two minutes into the game against the Knights. Caldwell beat West Essex in a narrow 64-61 overtime victory.
