Jerry Napoleon, 19, of Caldwell, N.J., died on Monday, August 20, 2012, at home.
Visitation is at the Dancy Funeral Home, 9 Smull Ave., Caldwell, on Friday, August 24, from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. A funeral service will be held at International Faith Ministries, 494 Hillside Ave., Orange, N.J., on Saturday, August 25, at 9 a.m. Interment to follow at Prospect Hill Cemetery, Caldwell.
Napoleon was born in Brooklyn, N.Y., and moved to Caldwell in 2004. He was a 2011 graduate of James Caldwell High School, where he participated in the football, track and wrestling programs.
He was currently a student at William Paterson University. He was a musician who played percussion instruments, rapped and produced music.
Napoleon is survived by his mother, Ginette Vialet, and a devoted brother, Dwayne; also extended family and many friends.
In lieu of flowers, the family will receive charitable donations at the funeral home.
