Call it an Olympic encounter of the carbonated kind.

Stop & Shop employees aren’t responsible for the clever display, according to Charlotte Harriott, store supervisor. Harriott said their vendor put together the carefully crafted stacks.

The Olympics' disply has been particularly “pop”ular with young visitors who stop to take pictures.

Harriott said, “The kids are responding more than anybody."

Special displays have appeared at Stop & Shop in the past, she said, such as one made for the Super Bowl.

Coca-Cola is longtime sponsor of the Olympic Games.
