The Borough of Caldwell is currently accepting applications for three open crossing guard positions.

The part-time positions require approximately 10 to 15 hours per week, on weekday mornings and afternoons.

Salary varies, starting at about $5,200 a year, according to Caldwell Police Chief James Bongiorno. 

The position includes uniforms and training will be provided. Enrollment in the pension system is available if qualified.

Applications are available at the Caldwell Police Department, 1 Provost Square, in Caldwell.

Caldwell recently revised crossing guard locations and school routes throughout the borough.
