The Chiefs' quarterback, Sonny Puzzo, has been nominated for Essex County Player of the Week for week six of the high school football season.

Fans of the James Caldwell High School senior have until the end of the week to cast their votes here. Puzzo is up against Brandon Cowley of West Orange, Jeovan Santos of Bloomfield, Michael Million of Montclair and others.

Puzzo played a big role in last week's 34-6 win over Barringer, going 8 for 12 passing for 138 yards and two touchdowns, and 89 yards rushing. The win raised the Chiefs' record to 4-1. 

Chiefs William Pierce and Sean Nastleton are also nominated this week, as are Matt Thies and Jason Russo of West Essex.
