Caldwell College Autism 5K Results

Annual run/walk benefits college's Autism center, more than 95 West Essex athletes registered.

More than 500 runners laced up Saturday, April 21 for the third annual Caldwell College Autism 5K Run/Walk—a fundraiser for the college's on-campus Center for Autism and Applied Behavior Anaylsis.

Dan Tully, 24, of Syosset, NY came in first overall with a time of 17:36.58. Tully beat out last year's first place winner, Daniel Kenny of North Caldwell, 15, who finished with a time of 17:51.14. Andy Vogel, 38, of Roseland, finished third overall with a time of 18:32.83.

The top three women finishers were: Mindy Patrisso, 39, of West Caldwell with a time of 21:08.83; Sarah Conboy, 16, of Verona with a time of 22:16.53; and Laura Casale of West Caldwell, 41, with a time of 23:08.89.

Kenny was one of nearly 100 student athletes from West Essex High School who participated in the Autism 5K, raising about $3,000 for the Autism Center at Caldwell College, according to spring track coach Anthony Lambo.
