Elegant Tile in Caldwell has left town.

A number of businesses in the Caldwells are on the move.

Some owners have retired, such as Linda Cupo of Beyond Knits and Needles.

Others have relocated, like the Sprint store which moved to East Hanover according to a sign posted in the window, and Saplings, which has a new home in Montclair. Elegant Tile has also left town.

Meanwhile, Everything Dance stepped over to Saplings' former home on Bloomfield Avenue in Caldwell. The women's boutique Wish has a sign in the window that says clothing for Teens and Tweens is coming in September.

Gianni, the haberdashery on Passaic Avenue in West Caldwell, is going out of business, and is offering up to 70% off on merchandise.

DeFranco's hair salon in Caldwell is closed and the windows are papered.

What happened to Nicco's Deli on Bloomfield Ave? Tried to go twice in the past three weeks and it's all closed up with no note. Just curious.

They have been closed for some time. A reader commented this week that they may reopen on Monday. Patch will stop by next week.

A reader just let me know that a former employee of Beyond Knits and Needles bought the business and it's now located upstairs from Rockn' Joe.
