On Labor Day, hundreds pounded the pavement at the 29th annual Verona Labor Day Classic, directed by Verona UNICO and Essex Running Club.
The day's events included a one-mile Fun Run/Health Walk and a 5k run on a USATF certified 5K course through streets of Verona, starting on Lakeside Avenue and finishing in Verona Park.

Links to the list of winners for both races can be found at the bottom of the story. You're right about the name of the girl who won missing from the caption -- an oversight on my part. I've added her name (Gizette Perez) to the caption.
