Morris Habitat ReStore Celebrates Grand ReOpening

Randolph, NJ : With July 4th activities behind us and summer in full swing, take a minute to mark your calendar for the grand re-opening of the Morris Habitat ReStore set for Saturday July 21 from 10 am to 4 pm.  The location of the ReStore is very convenient, 274 South Salem Street in Randolph just off Route 10 West, diagonally across from the Kmart Plaza.  The re-opening will be a great day to look for wonderful bargains on new and gently used building supplies, furniture, appliances, cabinets, lighting and much, much more.  Come share in the festivities as Morris Habitat celebrates its move to this larger, more shopper-friendly (air conditioned) space!

 

It will be a great family-friendly event including free hot dogs, popcorn, face painting, magician, fire trucks, and more! Also, free raffle drawings will be picked every hour for ReStore gift certificates up to $100 and those attending will be able to pick a little yellow rubber duck from the ReStore “pond” for additional surprise savings on items. The day’s events include:

 

-          10:00 a.m. Ribbon Cutting Ceremony

-          11:00 a.m. “Magic is Funny!”  a magic show starring Ron Owens 

-          11:30 a.m. A visit from Smokey the Bear 

-          12:00 p.m. The Randolph Fire Department  truck on display

-          1:00 p.m. Bluebird Art Face Painting 

-          2:00 p.m. Randolph Police Department 

 

Additionally, the Snoball Factory  truck will be at the ReStore from 11:00 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. if you want to try one of their great new flavors. 

 

Regular store hours are Monday-Sunday from 10am-4pm.  On Thursdays night, the store is open until 8pm.  Make some time to visit the new location. Come often as the inventory changes daily.  Cash, debit cards, Visa and MasterCard are accepted.

 

During regular store hours, donations of new or gently used building supplies, appliances, furniture, lighting, and more will be accepted at the Randolph location. Go to www.morrisrestore.org for a complete list of accepted items. Larger items can still be picked-up by the ReStore truck. To schedule a pickup of your donations, please contact the ReStore staff at 973.366.3358 or email restore.donations@morrishabitat.org .  All donations are tax-deductible.  

 

Revenues from the ReStore help Morris Habitat build affordable housing for local families in need. To date six homes have been built and over 2,000 tons of recycled materials have been kept out of landfills.

About Morris Habitat for Humanity
