Grover Cleveland Middle School (GCMS), Caldwell, announced its Students of the Month for December. The teachers nominate and then select one student from each grade.

To be nominated as Student of the Month, students must achieve academic success, exhibit appropriate behavior, possess a positive and friendly attitude, be genuine in that they are understanding, honest, and caring, and be a creative thinker.

This month’s students are sixth grader Patrick Wescott, seventh grader Samantha Austin and eighth grader Taylor Bryant.

“Patrick is a great role model,” said teacher representatives. “Patrick is filled with enthusiasm in class and participates in all school spirit events.”

“[Samantha’s] Her work ethic is so positive and she’s a role model for other students.”

“Taylor always has a smile and a quick hello when she sees you. She consistently does her homework, participates well in class and is academically gifted."
