Caldwell Football Makes Donation to Make It Better Foundation
The generosity of James Caldwell High School football coach Ken Trimmer has no boundaries. On Saturday Nov. 17, James Caldwell played host to Lincoln High School in the first round of the state playoffs.
Prior to the game, coach Trimmer along with captains Andrew Goodman, Billy Pierce and Sonny Puzzo presented Mike Brown with a check for $500. The check was a donation to the Michael Brown’s Make It Better Foundation.
Mike Brown, a sophomore at James Caldwell, started the foundation this year in support of the Child Life Department at Morgan Stanley Columbia Presbyterian Children’s Hospital.
Coach Trimmer decided that a portion of the player edge cards that were sold by the entire team would go to this cause.
